It's Groundhog Day!
You've just relived the same day for the fifth time, and have come to realize that you can do anything without lasting consequence.
What would be the biggest waste of an opportunity like this?

‘Not now you scrawny dicked fluff’ I slip gently from under his roaming reach, out from under the sheets, into his shirt, and to the bath. He mustn’t see me now.
Hastily leaving his room to scurry home, I think how odd it is to foreknow the entire day.
The same breakfast. The same shops on Rodeo. The same salon.
Then the fun begins, at 8:30 in the la Maciales bar, where Brad Pitt is having cocktails -- alone.
A few drinks. A few laughs. A few looks. A sleazy hotel….
And it all starts again.

John slowly opened his eyes, and almost immediately felt wrong. As he tried to coax himself into consciousness, he felt the familiar rumbling in his stomach, and then in his bowels.
"Not again," he thought. "Can't this take just one time off?"
If it were to relent one rotation, it wouldn't be this one. He quickly turned out of bed and ran towards the bathroom. He had made it every time, just barely, and wasn't about to miss this time.
Why, of all possible nights, did I pick last night to have Mexican. I know what it does to me.

Nah; it's a structural problem. The topic just asks for a punchline. So you've either got to stretch a punchline out into 100 words, which is tough, or else re-tell the setup in 85 or so. Either way, it's a tight straightjacket, even for this place...

Nobody said not to make them challenging.
Besides, you could do angst, psychosis, devil-may-care-osity, a takeoff on Burgess Meredith's "Time Enough At Last" Twilight Zone episode, all kinds of stuff.

I rather liked this theme.
I realize I’m not a very good story teller, but I couldn’t think of a bigger waste of opportunity than picking up Brad every day. My story sounds very backpagey, but I can’t blame the theme.
