You just won the lottery.

It was the convergence of the sixes that finally did it. Six numbers for six years once a month on the first of the month finally hit on the first day of the sixth month. Payout? Six million.

I’d have preferred sixty but it was enough for the rest of my life -- If I could cut my expenses and move someplace cheap like Costa Rica. If I could get an expedited divorce.

“You remember what we discussed six years ago?”

“Yeah. It’s $60,000 now.”

“Do it. All six bullets.”

“Be out of town for a week. Costa Rica’s nice.”
