Who would name their child that?

Dawn broke on the organic farm. As her husband left to tend to the hemp fields, Zither Moon-Goddess called her children down to breakfast.

"Chrysanthemum! Obelisk! Synecdoche! Let's go, darlings... your waffles and soy links are growing cold!"

One by one the flannel-garbed offspring slunk with lethargic pace, slouching in their wooden seats. Obelisk poked half-heartedly at the food on his plate.

"Mom," he said, "may I change my name?"

"Why?" Zither asked.

"I just think it's pretentious."

"That's quite enough out of you, young man. Now go out to the barn and milk Fever Dream Of A Half-Mad Deity."
