A GIRL NAMED STUD
Her name and dredlocks fascinated Guy. He enjoyed grass as much as she did and didn't mind her hairy legs and armpits, tattoos, or her pierced nipples. His only objection was her desire to drive topless.
"I don't buy into the bullshit of America," Stud said. She turned onto the interstate and took a swig of Jack Daniels.
Guy tugged at her nipple ring.
"What is rationality?" She passed the bottle to him. "Shit, I drink, I fuck, I smoke blunts. It's all good."
"Ain't you cold?" he asked.
Police lights flashed in the rear view mirror.
Stud floored it.

"Keeping the Peace: Reimbursement For Cooperation"
My brother Lester was whipping up his specialty cat-casserole when my date and I returned from the movies.
"Smells delicious! Chartreux?" My date asked. She had one of those 'testing' personalities, and this was a prime exhibition. She knew my family ate straight Himalayan/Chinchilla and that the mere suggestion of Chartreux was considered blasphemy.
But she was hot and I really, really mad-bad wanted to fuck her.
"She's joking, Lester," I said.
He spun around and looked me in the eyes. "25 minutes," he said.
"25 minutes," I repeated.
"25 minutes," my date re-repeated.
Wow, what a long, long time...

SURE, IT'S IRRATIONAL. BUT IT'S NOT UNREASONABLE. (Goldfarb cont')
Although Goldfarb would never know it, the space-time rift had dropped him and the old man in the middle of New Central Park, 2156.
The old man, rubbing his left shoulder, rolls off the top of Goldfarb to watch the young, and not unattractive, blond girl sway by.
“Dad, what just happened?”
“Not sure son, but I think that we're in the future.”
With a wink to Goldfarb, the old man cinches up his sheet and trots after the blond.
Under Goldfarb's feet the void opens sucking him once again into utter darkness.
Sure, it's irrational. But it's not unreasonable.
