I was a sucker for blondes and she needed work, so I invited her into my office for an "audition".

I had her read a few lines from a script I pulled from the trash. She was no Ava Gardner but I let her continue.

When it got to the part where the girl faints, Blondie closed her eyes and collapsed onto my couch in a position that had "screw me" written all over it.

I grabbed her by the arm, jerked her up and tossed her out the door. If she wasn't willing to struggle, she'd never survive showbiz.
