It’s an exciting time at our house. A time of little gift bags and balloons, and lots of hangers from Carters. Bubble gum cigars, back-slaps, and tear filled hugs. Friends, neighbors, and family all making excuses to stop by and embarrass themselves making baby noises.

Everyone brings food.

Casserole dishes covered in foil, wonderful comfort food, stacked in the fridge and piled in the pantry. My parents brought over some deli meats and Italian bread. I hope there’s a panini maker in one of those gift bags.
