Frank was sick of all the prejudice.
He expected snide comments when he went out (that’s just the way bigots are, he thought), and it was hard to keep a job because of discrimination. But to get the same violent personal attacks and absolute rejection from the entire gay community was just too depressing.
He was attractive and he exercised regularly. He wasn’t the most macho guy on the scene. In fact, he was flaming,
But just because the sprinklers went off whenever he entered the bar – and okay, once he scorched that drag queen’s wig – he should be ostracized?

Esther smiled, “I’d love to have you over tonight.”
“I can’t wait to meet Mike. You’ve told me so much about him,” Bethany replied.
“I know he’s looking forward to meeting you too. He’s a really laidback guy…always watching tv.”
“Well, I’m on my way.” 15 minutes later, Bethany entered the house. She hugged Esther and followed her to the living room.
“I’m so excited for you two to meet.” They rounded the corner. “Bethany, this is Mike. Mike say hello to Bethany.”
Mike didn’t respond. He just stared in all directions with the sprouting eyes that covered his body.

I have another one that I don't think will quite fit here. I'll just record it and cram it down Laurence's throat to put on his 100 word story podcast.

C'mon, Laieanna. I'm sure it will fit in perfectly. Did you read Laurence's post?

I have that power over people.
I used to be able to make popcorn come out of people's ears.
I prefer butter to earwax.
