In the spirit of the theme can I just canvas why I went from +5 to +1?

What's wrong, not enough baseball? No Christianity or political sniping? Too highbrow? What?

I didn't give you a -1 but I have a personal distaste for anything written textbook style. This style comes across as 'telling' instead of 'showing' (if that makes any sense).

By the way, what's with starting out by giving yourself a +5 sometimes? That hardly seems equitable.

Surely a post about scientific discovery/exploration should be written in a clinical, informative textbook style?

As for the starting pluses and minuses, they're dealt out by the script. Or maybe I just am that good.
