My mother left when I was thirteen. She explained to me carefully that she had to fulfil her destiny of travelling to India and searching for her inner self.

When I turned 18 I thought of following her. But I am not interested in my inner self.

I was twenty-five when I discovered my mother was actually living in Brisbane with her girlfriend.

When her girlfriend tried to seduce me, I let her.

That's when I discovered revenge is only gratifying in the planning. Once committed, the act loses its appeal. A good lesson to learn.
