Well, I'm a nurse, I have been for a year now. I'd like to be an author, but don't really know how...I read a lot, but don't know where to begin when it comes to writing.
What sort? Probably science fiction, or mystery, maybe even multiple genres. I love to read all sorts, and really like the kind of books by Terry Pratchett and Douglas Adams, though I'm in the middle of...what? My patient? He's just getting a transfusion. No, his arm shouldn't be red and pulsating like that..."
