He looked down at the clear plastic bag and grinned widely. He had navigated through the maze of dark and confusing tunnels successfully, and still had one piece of bread left, with hardly any crumbs torn off of it. He planned his journey perfectly, and now the treasure was his to take back with him.

*chirp* *chirp* *chirp*

The man paused when he heard the strange noise, and held up his torch, turning to survey the area around him. There, ten feet behind him, stood a bird happily eating.

"Shoot. I knew I shouldn't have used bread crumbs. Now what?"
