"I need you to call Ken Burns right away and set up that aquisition meeting. This is top priority," the CEO said as he looked up at the ceiling for a moment, trying to collect his thoughts.

"And as soon as you've finished setting up that appointment, I need you to write those letters of intent to those applicants."

Suddenly there was a knock at the door.

"Yes?"

"Mr. Johnson... who are you talking to?"

Mr. Johnson looked at the now empty chair on the other side of the desk and blinked.

"Nobody. I was talking into my tape recorder."
