How could she possibly?

We were talking about isotopes, and the stories behind the minds that discovered them. The first truly intellectual discussion I’d had since arriving at this hell-hole Berkeley.

Finally, I thought. Finally I’ve met some one who shares my passion. Some one not interested in saving the world with politics, but with science. People need to care, but they also need the tools, the abilities, the things science can give; give to a planet that needs help. A planet that needs saving. And she wants to know my “sign”?
