"Dear Mr Dodge", it read, "we understand that you are interested in a writing position. We wish to know if you have an interest in being an in-house writer at Mistakatonic University."

At first I thought someone was having a laugh.

It went on, "we wish to have a writer of your caliber in our staff to teach creative writing. We also have viewed your musical endeavors with keen interest as we aim to expand our music department."

I thought for a few, hit reply: "Alas, my wife is keen on staying in London and I must decline your offer."
