Caffeine aficionados know, too much can have an adverse affect. There’s a very narrow path of maximum intake, maximum effect, without crashing, that must be carefully monitored and maintained.

Writing this screenplay has taught me that.

Up all night looking for just the right phrase. Plopped down at my desk, or running around, playing out the characters, or working out the scene.

The perfect caffeine buzz is a dream, sipping coffee in my robe for the simple pleasure an old memory. It’s no-doze and vivarin these days. And back to the business of creating the detective team, “Sprocket and Stubbs”.
